Doug Kok, a third generation Zimbabwean, has been hunting professionally since 1978. Doug grew up hunting and fishing in the Zimbabwe bush from a young age with his native companions who he grew up with and learned to speak their language fluently and know their customs intimately. Doug also got to know the habits and habitats of the wildlife and birds of Zimbabwe, and now runs big game, plains game, and fishing safaris in both Zimbabwe and South Africa.
The big game safaris are conducted in the Charara/Nyodza area on the shores of Lake Kariba and also in the famed Zambezi Valley where Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Hippopotamus, and Crocodile can be hunted as well as a limited number of plains game (eg. Bush Buck, Water Buck, Kudu, Impala, Sable, Warthog, Klipspringer, Duiker, Grysbuck, Hyena).
The plains game safaris are conducted on ranches in Zimbabwe. We have a wide variety of animals to choose from in the midlands of Zimbabwe including Sable, Kudu, Eland, Tsessebe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Impala, Reedbuck, Klipspringer, Warthog, Bush Pig, Steinbuck, Duiker, Caracal, Serval, Civet, Wildcat, Genets, Jackals, Baboon, and Monkey.
Our fishing trips will be conducted on Lake Kariba or on the Zambezi River for a number of different species of fish, such as the World Renowned fighting Tiger Fish, Vundu (a giant species of catfish), different species of Bream (Tilapia), Chessa, and Nkupi, and other minor species.
